ENGINEERING DESIGN CONSULTANTS
Based in East Kent, we’re a team of passionate, diversely experienced design engineers, providing engineering and CAD design services to our clients, primarily utilising SolidWorks software and similar mainstream CAD systems. We assist our clients through the entire process of getting their concepts ready to market, from full product design and development to simply supplementing their own in-house design departments. We believe that long term partnerships are the key to the success for a Product Design consultancy in order to provide better continuity through product knowledge. We would relish the opportunity to assist you all the way through the Product development journey.

The utility of an engineering design consultancy can be interpreted in a different way by any of our potential clients, and we are not here to try to change the way our customers work. It is our priority to adapt our services to work to best effect for your own team or project. However, being an external, contracted organisation, we often find that some of the ideas and solutions that we bring to the table may not have even been considered by a company we are working with. This is sometimes due to the fact that internal employees for a particular business are often bound to a logic that comes with the territory of working solely with their specific projects and products. From our perspective, this is one of the many benefits of working with a dedicated product design and development company, such as our own.
We firmly believe that the best design work is a collaborative process and rarely comes from the mind of just one person. In our many years of experience in the industry, we have found that a client’s specific expertise and knowledge of their own field combines well with the fresh, outside approach provided by our team as a design consultancy.
Our design engineers pride themselves on their adaptability – we can work in tandem with in-house design departments of larger organisations, or as a dedicated design team for single person startups. Our clients have extremely diverse requirements and present their own specific challenges – challenges which we relish taking on. In some instances, we simply provide a periodic, load-bearing addition to a client’s in-house design team to help manage workflow. For others, the process is more involved and long-term, and sees us taking on a project that starts as just an idea in a client’s head, all the way through to mass production.
In recent years, our mechanical engineering design team has built a collaborative relationship with a local electronical design company, providing a fully integrated electro-mechanical design service for any new and continuing clients, which has further diversified the type of work we are able to take on.
Our Product design engineers have worked in a diverse range of sectors including Pharmaceutical, Medical and Defence through to automation, washroom equipment, transportation and structural landscaping products. Each individual design task is different, sometimes the designs develop along the expected route and sometimes they may evolve down a more unexpected route in order to produce a more capable or perhaps less expensive final product, dependent on the end requirement.
We aim to establish long term relationships with our clients, irrespective of the volume of work they may bring to us. It is far easier keeping our clients satisfied than constantly searching for new ones. We have been very fortunate over the years in being able to retain them, indeed we are still working with companies and individuals that we teamed up with when we started the company back in 2003.
