Product Design and Development Engineer Apprenticeship

We are looking for a graduating A Level student with a passion for Engineering Design to join our team as an apprentice whilst studying for 4 years, part-time, to earn a Degree in Product Design at London South Bank University. The successful candidate will need to achieve at least a B or above in A Level Maths, and two other A Level subjects, to be able to gain a place on the university course. The position will be based at our office in Broadstairs, Kent, where the individual will gain experience in many engineering disciplines, working with a wide variety of companies in different fields. Assuming you have no prior experience, you will become highly proficient in the use of SolidWorks CAD software, along with its add-on simulation tools.

Any travelling expenses will be covered by us, as will training costs for the degree. It is envisaged that the individual will become an integral part of our team going forwards, beyond finishing their degree. Your time studying the course will work in tandem with the time you spend with us to help you become a fully rounded, qualified design engineer.

Qualifications:

  • 3 A levels, Grade B or above, including Maths, or UCAS point equivalent.

  • at least 5 GCSEs A-C grade or equivalent (4+), including Maths and English.
